Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Disc Disease Diagnosis (DDD) physiotherapy robot that attempts to assist the human physiotherapist. It aims to study the capability of a robot in performing DDD exercises, motivating patients and evaluating patients acceptance. Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) was followed in the implementation. Experiments have been done with a real patient to obtain patient acceptance and motivation . Patient assessment toward physiotherapy robot is important by using:Technology Acceptance. The results from the observation and questionnaire was overall positive.
